She was predeceased by: her brothers, Paul Frank Gridley and Willard Isaac Gridley. She is survived by: her parents, Frank Gridley and Myrtle Gridley (Posson); her spouse John H. Schaeffer; her children, Lois Boericke (Fred) of Duxbury, MA, James Schaeffer of Ithaca and Peter John Schaeffer (Shannon) of Bonners Ferry, ID; her grandsons, Willard Boericke (Meredith) and Frederic Boericke, III; and her great grandchildren, Eli Schaeffer Boericke and Hans Schoff Boericke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
