She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Emmi and Filomena Spinelli Emmi; her husband Robert Avery; her son James F. "Jim" Avery; her daughter-in-law Janis Avery; and her siblings, Josephine Kuczek, Mary Emmi, Frank, Sam, Anthony, Steven, Michael and Alfred Emmi.
She is survived by: her son William "Bill" Avery (Carol Terrizzi) of Ithaca; her grandchildren, Nicholas Avery of Ithaca, Meghan Avery of Ithaca, James F. "Jake" Avery Jr. of Ithaca and Brett Avery of Ithaca; and her siblings, Rose Mailloux of Auburn, Rita Canas of Milford, CT and James Emmi of Syracuse.
