With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melvin H. Negley of Ithaca, New York, born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Melvin left this world on October 8, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Clair and Anna Mae Negley (Pierce); his daughter-in-law Dixie Addy Negley; and his siblings, Mansel Negley, Mildred Morgan, Luella Lindsey, Doris Coffman, Dorothy McMillen and Merle Negley.
He is survived by: his wife Ilonka Negley; his children, Randy Negley, Lorene Ley (Herb), Darrell Negley (Robin), James Ciaschi III and Tammy Rozga (Jakub); his siblings, Vera Mock, Betty Johnson and Jean Zucchelli; and his former wife Dorothy Jones Negley. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Lansing Funeral Home (32 Auburn Rd, Lansing, NY 14882).
