She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon A. Gosbee and Jessie Gosbee (Boles); her husband Roger; her son Thomas Whitaker; and her sister Elma Beeson.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Whitaker (Sharon), Gordon Whitaker (Susan), Sharon Weaver (Lawrence) and Robin Chrysafides (William); her grandchildren, Robert Whitaker (Michelle Malta), Sara Brister (Kevin), Justin Whitaker (Christina), Eben Whitaker (Christine), Devan Whitaker (Kristin), Brennan Bush (Christopher), Tara Bubble (Chris), Todd Weaver, Tristen Ross (Joe), Dilan Chrysafides (Kayleigh) and Jessica Bergeman (Fred); and her nephew Mike Kalina. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
