She was predeceased by: her parent Otto Newman; her husband Milton; and her brother William. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Julie Hogeland), Oliver (Carolyn Miller) and Judith (David Goldman); her grandchildren, Liz Wetzel (Dustin Wetzel), Emily Esman, Daniel Finegold (Sarah Cohen) and Sarah Finegold (Brett Berman); her brother Sanford; and also, Lillie Wetzel and Leo Wetzel.
