He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Edward Conrad and Margaret Burlingame Showacre; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Showacre (Betty) of Coralville, IA and Richard E. Showacre of Seattle, WA.. He is survived by: his daughter Joanne C. Showacre of Ithaca, NY; and his sister Mary S. Hemken (Muzzy) of Lexington, KY..
