With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gail P. Stevens of Ithaca, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Kenneth Lybolt and Isabel Youngs Lybolt; her husband Richard C. Stevens; her grandson Richard Curtis Stevens; her brother Rollin H. Lybolt; and also Marion E. Forkey.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Stevens of Ithaca, NY, Kevin Stevens (Cindy) of Ogden, UT, Mark Stevens (Connie) of Goshen, NY, Richard Stevens (Mary) of Middletown, NY and Patricia Martine (Thomas) of Amsterdam, NY; her grandchildren, Amanda Flynn, Kevin Stevens, Tyler Stevens, Michele Smithers, Deana Mancini, Thomas Holdsworth, Nicholas Stevens, Katrina Bennett and Nicole Stevens; her brother Richard Lybolt (Lynn) of Sun City, AZ; and her sisters-in-law, Carole Lybolt of Middletown, NY and Shirley Ziemer of Colchester, VT. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bangs Funeral Home (209 W Green St, Ithaca, NY 14850). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jacksonville Community Church (1869 Trumansburg Rd, Trumansburg, NY 14854).
Memorial contributions, in Gail's name, may be made to the Trumansburg Food Pantry or Jacksonville Community UMC.
