Royal, Alethea Hopkins, Jauna Lance (Stephen) and Joseph Hopkins III (Linda); and her stepchildren, Jeanette Green, Towson, Peggy Hunter, James of Garner, NC, Claude Gentry (Janice) of Durham, NC, Beatrice McQuaig Byrd of Durham, NC and Delaney McQuaig of Durham, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins. beloved and cherished friends.
