Williams; his daughter-in-law Savannah James Williams; his sister Amy Williams Backus; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen Backus (Rachel Pino) and Cammie Backus (Katheryn Phillips). He is also survived by cousins, friends.
David made meaningful contributions to the greater Ithaca community as a member of several nonprofit boards, most notably the Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca.
