She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry J. and Julia Bell (Mihalec); her brother Henry J. Bell Jr; and her husband Francis P. McGarry. She is survived by: her spouse Frank P. McGarry; her children, Paul F. McGarry of Ithaca, NY and Patricia Clark (McGarry); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Clark Wilcox (Justin) of Auburn, ME and Sarah Clark Branam (Clarence); and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Logan, Quinn of Abu Dhabi, Nancy B. McGarry of Fort Pierce, FL, Louise P. McGarry of Orono, ME and Kenneth R. McGarry (Linda) of Lawrenceville, GA.. She is also survived by three daughters and two sons.
Anita remained quietly active until Alzheimer's diminished her capacity to engage with the larger world.
