He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Tina Zafonte, David P. Zafonte (Linda), James A. Zafonte, Vincent P. Zafonte, Christopher P. Zafonte, Theresa M. Snow (Jeremiah), Mary Anne Aleshevich and Anthony P. Zafonte; and his brother Leo Zafonte. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
