It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Henry Grimm of Island Park, New York, born in Valley Stream, New York, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Gillam; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his children, Edward (Joyce), Michael (Daise) and Carolyn (Jason); his grandchildren, Danny (Camilla), Denise, Kate and Will; his great grandchildren, Elio and Malu; and his sisters, Mary and Margaret (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was a lifelong learner who taught himself how to sew (he made many Covid masks for family and friends), enjoyed cooking (his cheesecakes were legendary), and could build or fix just about anything.
