“I am crushed to learn that Alison is no longer with us in this plane, butI know her soul lives on. I was just trying to reach out to her after 45 years. We met at the NYS Summer School for the Arts in Saratoga Springs in 1978. She was the principal first clarinetist and I was the principal second clarinetist. We communicated for a few years after that, but we lost touch. Alison was a talented clarinetist and a sweet soul. I was so looking forward to speaking with her. She is missed and lives on.”
