He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spano and Mary Spano; and his former wife Sharon Spano (Cichy). He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Taber (Jason); his stepgrandchildren, Abigail and Cadence Taber; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Regan (Kim) and Carol Ballas (Brian); his nieces, Karen Regan, Lauren Holt (Kody), Colleen Hayden (Austin), Katie Gardner (Sam) and Christy Bradshaw (Ron); his nephew Alan Yanik; and his wife Sherry. He is also survived by grand-nieces and nephew, and many friends and family.
For the past 9 years, he suffered with Alzheimer's/ Dementia, but always wanted to help anyone he could.
