He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine; and his brothers, Joseph and William. He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Maslanka (Kathleen), Daniel Maslanka, Elaine Smith (Steven) and Mary Lou Arrow (James); his grandchildren, Lauren Maslanka, Mary Kay Maslanka, Kelly Smith Bailey, Christopher Smith (Jessica), Katherine Smith, Rieanne Arrow and Savannah Knowlton; and his great grandchildren, Victoria Smith and Claudia Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
