With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Bamann of Irondequoit, New York, who passed away on November 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bamann and Virginia Bamann. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lewis Bamann; his children, William Bamann (Elizabeth), David Bamann, Paul Bamann and Susan Bamann (Allen Poyner); and his grandchildren, William Bamann Jr., Kevin Bamann (Katherine), Michael Bamann and Ewan Poyner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's name may be made to the St. Paul Boulevard Exempt Firemen's Association, The St John's Foundation, or St. Margaret Mary Church (Saint Kateri Tekawitha Roman Catholic Parish).

“My sincere sympathy to Elaine and all of those who loved Bob. The Bamann Agency was my first job in the insurance field in 1977 and the start of my lifelong career. I'll always fondly remember Bob and his pipe, abacus, wry humor, kindness and mentorship to a wet-behind-the-ears barely 20 year old. Rest well, Bob.”
