With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nelson G. Lavere of Irondequoit, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Nelson may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nelson touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lavere; his children, Mary Ryan (John McBride), Nelson Lavere, Mark Lavere (Cynthia) and Denise Lavere (Linda Marciano); and his grandchildren, Richard Lavere, Erica DiMarco, Amanda Gallina, Stephanie Lavere and Stacey Lavere. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (2732 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14622).
