He is survived by: his children, Ricardo Vega, Nelida Rivera (Raymond) and Annabelle Diaz-Vega (Richie); his grandchildren, Ricardo Jr., Daniel, Qetzy Vega, Raymond B. Rivera, Giselle L. Vega and Julia Alexis Diaz; his great grandchildren, Ava Marie Alcivar and Dominic (Nico); and his siblings, Felix Vega, Carmen Lydia Lopez (Pedro), Hilda Sonia Escalera, Maria Vega and Carmen E. Vega. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
