She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Besuyen and Elizabeth Besuyen. She is survived by: her husband James M. Cottrill; her brother Andrew Besuyen (Barbara); her children, Jason Cottrill (Phatsaphone) and Sarah Cottrill; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jauntah, Josiah and Jumaulah. She is also survived by brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.
