She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Conge and Eva Conge; her former husband John J Schantz; her husband Robert Gears; her sisters, Darlyn Bilodeau and Joyce Conge; and her stepson Robert Gears, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, John Schantz, Jr. (Julie), Stephen Schantz (JoEllyn), Christine Schantz Speedy and Greg Schantz (Jenilee); and her stepdaughters, Deborah Gears (Carla) and Valerie Hockenberger (Todd). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
