He was predeceased by: his wife Betty D. Stafford; his parents, Norah Sorenson and Benjamin Sorenson; and his brothers, Robert and Wayne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Bluett (Lynn) and Laura Gilbert (Timothy); and his grandchildren, Gregory Gilbert, Mark Gilbert (Stephanie), Heather Goerlich (Steven) and Gretchen Spencer (Patrick). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
