He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heeks and Marie Heeks (Lomb); and his siblings, John Heeks (Elaine), Robert Heeks (Shirley) and Mary Elizabeth Sacco (Frank).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Heeks (Sillence); his children, Lisa McGary (James), George Heeks (Kathleen), Mary Sue Vetter (Sven), John Henry Heeks (Mary Frances) and Jennifer Jarosick (Martin); and his brother David Heeks (Brenda). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
