He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigfred Scacchitti and Jovanna Scacchitti; and his brother Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Jerry (Tina), Lisa Cometa (Gordon Glidden) and Amy Ashton (Chris); his grandchildren, Jack, Ryan, Ellie Scacchitti, Tyler, Carter, Vincent, Arthur Ashton and Nathan Lewis; and his siblings, Vincent Scacchitti (Nancy), Marianne Pluciennik (John), Joanne Eutizi and Diane Lang. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
