He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Timkey and Julia Timkey; his brother Charles Timkey; and his brother-in-law George Emery. He is survived by: his granddaughter Audriana Grace "Boo"; his wife Jo Ann Timkey; his children, Jonathon Timkey, Sean Timkey (Eva Vasquez) and Stacey Napierala (Brandon); his siblings, Ronald Timkey (Vickie) and Sherrie Emery; his sister-in-law Gail Timkey; his niece Karen Ogg (Chris); and also Brandon Napierala.
