David A. Heeks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David A. Heeks of Irondequoit, New York, who passed away on April 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heeks and Marie Heeks; and his siblings, Jack, Bob (Shirley), George and Mary (Frank).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Heeks; his children, Maria Heinlein (Jim), Denise LaPorta (Steve), Dale Heeks (Kristin), Cheryl Cady (Jason) and David Heeks (Jamie); his grandchildren, Dave, Gavin, Logan, Paige, Lucas, Bridget and Amelia; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Heeks and Ellen Baker. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (570 Kings Hwy S, Rochester, NY 14617). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (445 Kings Hwy S, Rochester, NY 14617). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
