She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Byerts; and her siblings, Emily Johnson and Frank DeFisher. She is survived by: her son Darrell Byerts; her daughter-in-law Anne Byerts; her grandchildren, Jodi Byerts, David Byerts and Keri Khan; her great grandchildren, Samantha Byerts, Chloe Byerts, Ella Khan and Temujin Khan; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Byerts and Ellsworth Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
