The passing of Ruth M. Lucas of Interlaken, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lewis and Ruth Lewis; her brothers, Eugene and Robert Lewis; and her brother-in-law John Finan.

She is survived by: her children, Ruth Marie Crawford (David), William Lucas (Lihua) and Stephanie Lucas Houck (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Jessica Siurano (David), Michael Crawford, Madelyn Houck, Nicholas Houck, Chelsea Lucas and Zachary Lucas; her great grandchildren, Devon and Kara Siurano; her siblings, Walter Lewis, James Lewis (Ruth) and Ellen Finan; and her brother-in-law James Lucas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home (23 South St, Trumansburg, NY 14886). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Solanus Church (3660 Orchard St, Interlaken, NY 14847).
