With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Gordy Sr. of Interlaken, New York, born in Claxton, Georgia, who passed away on June 2, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Gordy and Vertilee Gordy (Kirby); his wife Linda Gordy (Ziegler); and his brother Ernest Gordy. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Gordy (Daniel Gallegos) and Lisa Covert (Gary Jr.); and his grandchildren, Dalin, Luke Gordy and Brittney Poyuzina.

“I am his biological grand daughter - Logan Gordy . I am sorry to hear about my grandfathers passing , as I remember many times us fishing together on his property in Elmira NY up on monkey lane .. I am also sorry to even read this as whoever wrote this up left out his other 6 biological children , Vick , Julie , Judy , Debbie , George & David . My father George Gordy Jr passed away September 2nd if 2018 . It’s all such a sad situation - best of luck.”
