Helen R. Payne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen R. Payne (Inlet, New York), born in Barnes Corners, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon Townsend and Irene Townsend (Stoddard); her spouse James R. Payne; her children, Jody Branch (Rick LeClair) of Old Forge and Robert Payne (Cheryn) of Burlington Flats; and her siblings, Rosemary Scarbino, Alice Rush, Leona Nestor, Mary Edington and Leon Townsend. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Joan Davis, OR; Jenny Young, Adams and Martha DeChristopher, IL; brother, John Townsend, Inlet; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Helen's name may be made to the Inlet Volunteer Ambulance Corps or Inlet Community Church.
