She is survived by: her sons, Herbert Schmid (Carol), Edward Schmid (Judith) and Hans Schmid (Laurie); and her grandchildren, Melinda Franks, Stephen Franks (Erica), Christopher Schmid (April), Cole, Matthew, Emma Schmid, Hanson and Ella Schmid. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and extended family.
