He was predeceased by: his parent J. Lee Flynn; and his sister Dian "DeDe" Roberts. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Flynn (Hall); his sisters, Dawn Flynn of Indian Lake and Dedra Flynn of Indian Lake; and his friends, EJ Keegan of Tampa, FL and Ray Prevost of Adams Center, NY.. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
