He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Powers Sr. and Mary Powers (Lipman). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Bowe; his sons, Scott Powers of Annapolis, MD and Richard Powers III of Indian Lake; his grandchildren, Sean Powers and Sierra Powers; and his sister Rita O'Keeffee of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
