He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Coffin and Edna Coffin (Willman); his siblings, Norman, Jackie Coffin, Pat, Gene Shepardson, Beverly and Richard Weiss; and his brother-in-law Michael Mackin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Bill (Bonnie Coffin), Mary (Greg Day), Mike Coffin (Thomas Dougherty) and Karen (Chet Slowik); his grandchildren, Lindsay Coffin of Ilion, Abigail Coffin (Bob Walters), Andrew Coffin (Sierra Leitten), Ryan (Valerie Day), Matthew Day (Danielle Grescheck), Adam Day of Ilion, Daniel Welch of Miami, Haylee Welch (Josh Pugh) and Austin Welch (Shayla Donnelly); his great grandchildren, Kristopher, Isla, Alexandra, Brayton, Ross, Luca, Leah, Lexi, Jennifer and Aleylah; his in-laws, Gail of Ilion, Jon Trossett of Ilion, David of Ilion and Maryann Mackin of Ilion; and his close friends, Karen and Tom McGrail. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home (4309 Acme Rd, Ilion, NY 13357). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
