He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh C. Crane and Edna Platt Crane; his sons, Brad and Bruce; and his son-in-law Joaquin Cuerda.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Borchert; his children, Brian Crane of Cape Cod, MA, Brenda Crane of Pittsfield, MA, Barbara Winnek (John) of Schuylerville, NY and Beth Hatton (Steven) of Hebron, MD; his sister Tami Milbourn (Thomas) of Mahtomedi, MN; and his grandchildren, Michael Winnek, Christopher Winnek, Elena Crane Cuerda and Rebecca Rossbach. He is also survived by five nieces, and several cousins.
