In loving memory of Sarah (Vaccaro) Tompkins (Ilion, New York), who departed this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 62. Sarah leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vito Vaccaro and Anne Vaccaro; and her son Christopher Thomas Tompkins. She is survived by: her children, Jamie (James Schulze) of Ilion and Silas (Sara Tompkins) of St Johnsville; her brothers, Leonard and Charles Vaccaro; and her grandchildren, Lily, Baylie, Keegan, Clayton and Mckenna. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home (4309 Acme Rd, Ilion, NY 13357). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ilion Elks Lodge.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, or ASPCA as these organizations held a special place in her heart.
