She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Myrtle Norton Sr. (Scofield); her son Meryl Jr.; and her siblings, George Jr. and Shirley Decker.
She is survived by: her former spouse Meryl Smith; her spouse Russell "Red" Sherman; her daughters, Janis (Sam Colombo) of Ilion and Jill (Phillip Vale) of Webster; her grandchildren, Matthew Colombo, Jennifer Kau, Jason, Justin Vale and Nancy Radcliff; her stepson Ric (Jill Sherman); and her sister-in-law Jean Smith of Ilion. She is also survived by three step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
