It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Mary Kane (Ilion, New York), who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Shedd and Bertha Shedd (McCarthy); her husband Morris Kane; her son Mark Kane I; her grandson Christopher Kane; her siblings, Leon (Doris Shedd), Alan (Betty Shedd), Estelle (William DeCoursey) and Anne (Lewis Watson); and her siblings-in-law, George, Helen Davidson, Catherine O'Bryan, Vickie Kane, Barbara Chase and Lois Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Kane (Elke) of Clifton Park, NY, Steven Kane of Mesa, AZ, Greg Kane of Lawrenceville, GA., Melissa Robson (Dave) of The Villages, FL and Christine Arnitz (Jim) of Clyde, NY; her daughter-in-law Rosalie Kane of Jacksonville, FL.; her grandchildren, Mark II Kane (Donna), Jessica Cachiola (Frank), Jennifer Kane, Samantha Kane, Allison Kartarski (Kris), Andrew Kane (Elizabeth), Amy Larson (Tony), Michael Arnitz (Shelly), Alecia Young (Josh), Michael Hall (Sarah), Chance Kane and Rafaela Kane; her great grandchildren, Georgia Grace Kane, Michael Kane, Trista Miller, Maceo, Lorenzo Cachiola, Matthew, Alexander Larson, Stella Kartarski, Brooklyn, Jameson Hall, Ava, Mia, Zoa, Ty Young, Chloe, Lucy Harris, Audrey and Evelyn Arnitz; and her nephews, Michael and Matthew Shedd of Mohawk, NY..
