He is survived by: his son Richard T. Herron, II; his daughter-in-law Charissa; his great grandchildren, Kylah, Lance Black, Richard Herron, III, Hannah Weller, Laina Herron, Bentley Black, Kysandra Black, Emberlynn Herron and Salem Herron; and his siblings, Fred Herron (Walda), Ted Herron (Sandie), Mary Mika (Mitch), Steven Herron and David Herron (Brenda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
