Though Melanie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melanie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Case and Joyce L. Case (Robertson). She is survived by: her husband William R. Steffen (Bill); her children, Allie Nagele (Cory) of Mohawk, NY, Rebecca Smith (Steve) of Waxhaw, NC and Marc Steffen (late Jennifer) of Monroe, NC; and her grandchildren, Alex, Claire, Audrey and Hannah.
