It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Christian Pedersen of Ilion, New York, born in Herkimer, New York, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pedersen and Eleanor Dutcher Pedersen; his wife Sharon Dye; and his siblings-in-law, Steven, Mitchell Dye and Coleen Dye.

He is survived by: his sons, Alan Pedersen (Sherry) of New Hartford, NY, Thomas Pedersen of Ilion, NY and Robert Pedersen; his grandchildren, Nathen Pedersen (Amanda) of Ilion, NY, Kayleigh Jouben (Joe) of Newport, NY, Trinity Pedersen, Taylor Pedersen, Tia Pedersen of Ilion, NY, Thomas, Jonathon and Evan Pedersen of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Joey, Jett Jouben, Logan and Anyaleigh Pedersen; his sister Roberta Mahlmeister (Michael) of The Villages, Florida; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Dye (Barb) and Ken Dye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
