He was predeceased by: his parent George Egleston; his brothers, Bernard W. Egleston and Raymond J. Egleston; and his siblings-in-law, John J. Sheehan, Jr. and Katherine Conroy.
He is survived by: his parent Beulah Egleston (Davis); his spouse Mary E. Sheehan; his daughter Dawn Dowd; his son-in-law George Dowd of Ilion; his granddaughters, Shevaun Abbott of Ilion, Richard Abbott of Ilion, Meaghan Binney of Ilion and Beau Binney of Ilion; his great grandchildren, Shay Binney, Nathan Abbott, Alexandra Abbott, Ricky Abbott and Samantha Abbott; his nieces and nephews, Kathleen Gzanowicz of Herkimer, Daniel Conroy of Denver, Sean Conroy (Florence Johnson) of Ilion and Kelly Conroy-Myrtle (Rodney) of Colorado; his stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Tyson, Tim Tyson and Eric Chafin; and his friend Mary Hoffmeister. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
