We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025, at the age of 68, Geraldine Pettengill of Ilion, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Geraldine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Geraldine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Sterling and Elizabeth Sterling (Binney). She is survived by: her husband David "Big Daddy" Pettengill; her children, Ilion, Jody Polidoro (James) of Bloomfield, NJ and John Marquissee (Megan) of Newport, VT.; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander Polidoro, Lacey and Ellie Marquissee; her niece Cathy LaFountain (Paul); her great-niece Tina; and her great-nephew Todd. She is also survived by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews.
