Elizabeth Laymon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Laymon of Ilion, New York, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Delucia and David Nabinger; her siblings, David "Skip" Nabinger, Sandra Gay and Cecile "Teal" Robellard; and her pet Chipmunk.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Laymon Sr. of Ilion; her children, David Laymon (Judi) of Las Vegas, NV, Jerry Laymon Jr. of Ilion and Alicia Rood (Jeff); her grandchildren, Tyler of Ilion, Jonathan Laymon (Alyssa), Alexandria (John Reid) and Jordan Laymon (Shaye); and her great grandchildren, Lyla Rose, Maylee Aleena, Madalyn Elizabeth, Wyatt John, Adira Ann and Julia Beth.
A reception was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home (100 Otsego St, Ilion, NY 13357).
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of her great love for animals, donations may be made in Liz's memory to the Herkimer County Humane Society, 514 NY-5S, Mohawk, NY 13407.
