It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annette Y. Sapienza of Ilion, New York, born in New York, New York, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sapienza and Angelina Sapienza (Gottilla); her brother Paul Sapienza; her brother-in-law Marty Wormsley; and her son-in-law Bruce Welker.
She is survived by: her children, Enza Marie Welker of Pennsylvania, Philip Cassata of Florida and Angela Rose Lennon of Ilion; her sister Rose Wormsley; her sister-in-law Roseanne Sapienza; and her grandchildren, Jenine Welker, Charles Welker, Joseph Welker, Christopher Welker, Daniel Lennon, Shane Lennon and Brett Cassata. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews and their families; and many special friends.
