He was predeceased by: his brother Michael; and his parents, William J. Dougher and Ann Dougher. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Dougher; his daughters, Caitlin Distasio and Kelly Dougher; his son-in-law Donald Distasio; and his siblings, Patricia O'Sullivan (Owen), Rayola Dougher (Don Norman), Coleen Widmeyer (Todd), Maureen Vermazen (Peter) and Raymond Dougher (Layla). He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel - St. Peters Church (185 Hudson View Dr, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
