She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alfredo, Jose, Perla, Armando, Bella and Vega Buccat; and her son-in-law James Fanitzi.
She is survived by: her husband Ruperto Sarmiento; her son Ruperto (Gerry); her daughter-in-law Marie Sarmiento, Jr.; her children, Rovena Fanitzi and Arjay; her daughter-in-law Dr. Stacey Sarmiento; her sisters, Virginia Buccat and Violetta Areola; and her grandchildren, Alan, Nicholas, Patrick Fanitzi and Abbey Sarmiento. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
