He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard G. Schamberg and Marjorie E. Cooke Schamberg; his brother-in-law Lennart Rasmussen; his stepbrother Robert Polotaye; and his sister-in-law Judy Polotaye.
He is survived by: his wife Kirsten Holm Olsen; his children, Tracy Schamberg, Robin Peek (Chaz), Søren A. Schamberg (Jessica) and Claes P. Schamberg (Zoaya Fatima); his grandchildren, Kyla, Halle, Mya and Olivia Peek; his children, Haylie Tanczos, Leah and Daniel Schamberg; his brothers, William B. Schamberg (Peggy) of Schroon Lake and Richard J. Schamberg (Larraine) of Ormond Beach, FL; his stepbrother Raymond Polotaye of Rhinebeck; and his sisters-in-law, Sandee Polotaye of Pleasant Valley, Astrid Holm Olsen of Denmark and Lise Holm Olsen (Ebbe Durck) of Denmark. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
