He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Hart; and his brother William Hart Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Richard Hart, Jr. (Janina), Thomas Hart, Patrick Hart, Timothy Hart (Theresa) and Donna Hart (Richard Buotte); his grandchildren, Sarah Hart, Sean Hart, Justin Hart, Ryan Hart, Christopher Hart, James Hart, Matthew Hart, Daniel Hart, Jr., Eugene Hart, Terry Hart, Leslie Tuttle and Eric Tuttle; his nephew William "Billy" Hart; and his nieces, Barbara Hart, Marilyn Hart of Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park.
