It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael J. Toomey (Hyde Park, New York), who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Toomey and Patricia Toomey; and his sisters, Leslie (Randy Scarborough), Sally (Paul Weglinski), Kathleen (Michael Kristofik), Mary Toomey and Patricia (Gregory Starzyk). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538).
