She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Gladden and Ethel Mae Gladden (Scott). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth N. Stepney; her children, Michael (Ernestine), Roscella Slaughter Poughkeepsie of New York and Edward Slaughter Jr. (Hyde Park); her grandchildren, Michael Hiter, Macortney Hiter, Mekayla Sims, Jeffrey Walser, Keije Walser and Michaels; and her siblings, Phelix Scott, Cornelius Scott and Cyntha Scott. She is also survived by Children and grandchildren.
